As from 13 December 2024 new EU rules come into play, for sales from the UK to anywhere in the EU and Northern Ireland.
Folksy have provided a comprehensive outline of the new rules here but even they are unsure of the exact meaning of the wording.
The rules are particularly muddy and complicated when it comes to the exemption, or not, of original artworks or prints.
Therefore, for the foreseeable future I will not be able to sell any work made after the cut off date of 13 December 2024 to any country in the EU or Northern Ireland.
For clarity: Any work dated 2024 or before has been made before 13 December 2024 and CAN be sold into the EU and Northern Ireland.
Any work dated 2025 CANNOT.
