First Light Festival 2025

I am to take part in a discussion about Art & Ecology at First Light Festival on 21 June, with John Ken Paranada and Professor Andrew Watkinson.

Ken is Climate Curator at Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, and Andrew is an artist and former director of the Tyndell Centre for Climate Change Research. I look forward to a lively discussion on how the subject of climate change can be conveyed through art, which holds a unique position in relation to the subject.

I’ll be talking about how I came to make work on the environment, through working from footage, tv news reports and my own experiences, which have shaped the way I work.
