Bone Soup

A recent series of these skeletons have emerged, from working over unsuccessful paintings. Initially I made some drawings of the same ilk, coming from a deeply personal place; these I am hanging on to for now.
I find these paintings darkly humorous, both elements exist harmoniously in me too. Swarming seagulls are scratched into the blue paint of the sky.
