The Hidden Lagoon is a painting made after a holiday in Krabi, Thailand. We went for a walk the first day we arrived and climbed a very challenging climb to view the hidden lagoon from on top of a limestone cliff. Its colour was a beautiful pale green and it was surrounded by a tropical forest, beyond you could see the sea and distant cliffs.
Painted with a green colour cast which I chose to convey the clear crisp heat and unreal beauty of the view.
