Trespassing For Art III
Pastel and pencil on paper
Framed measurements 51 x 38 cm
While searching for some gigantic red fir trees seen from the road, I found I had to cross private land owned by a sawmill to get to them. As no one was around I began to quickly record the woodland I was in as the autumn colours were vivid that day and glowed in the blue English light.
There is now a series of five drawings made plein air.
Trespassing For Art III is a drawing on painted paper made using pastel pencils, coloured pencils and graphite. The underlying vermillion acrylic paint breaks through the textured pastels which remain unblended and raw.
Professionally framed in a bespoke dark grey wooden box frame with matching mount and standard glass.
Posted carefully wrapped and double boxed.
