Fire Season III Book

I am pleased to announce my painting Pumarejo De Tera, Spain has been selected to be featured in Fire Season III, a book of artists and writers on the subject of wildfires. The painting was inspired by an incredible reportage photo taken by Cesar Manso during the summer of fire heatwave in 2022 and is part of my project You And I Are Earth.

I was drawn to this image by the sheer size and ferocity of the flames in relation to the dwarfed figures of firefighters, who are thrown into silhouette.
