Hurricane

Hurricane was painted from a news report of an approaching storm in the southern states of America during 2021. It was reporting on the increased frequency and ferocity of the storms and took a photo with my phone from the tv screen.
The painting is pretty free in expression and was made in several sessions where I went back and added small details in layers, using the four core colours I prefer.
Painted on a braced birch wood panel with neatly painted edges, ready to hang.
