While away, and on the way back from exploring a wild piece of land, I saw a horse in a field, its solid stillness enhanced by the blowing tall grass surrounding it. Our eyes met and I knew I would paint it.
Painting it was a delicious exploration of paint, texture, mediums and brushwork.
