Trespassing For Art
Pastel and pencil on paper
Framed measurements 51 x 38 x 2.5 cm
Trespassing For Art was also made from sketches and photos I made in Cawston, Norfolk while searching for some red fir trees I had seen from the road. It was inspired by the amazing autumn colours in the woods that day and the tall dark fir trees with their reddish trunks. I had to cross private land owned by a sawmill, hence the title of the artwork.
The drawing is pastel and pencil on paper which has been covered with vermillion acrylic, creating a vivid coloured ground. The red colour shows through the pastel in flecks and add a depth to the colour range.
Professionally framed in a bespoke dark grey wooden box frame with matching mount and standard glass.
Posted carefully wrapped and double boxed.
