Painting of a 1960s house surrounded by trees. It is somewhere I pass regularly and always wish I lived there, I love the design of the bay window and the mature trees of unusual species planted in the open garden. As always I began painting the subject with speed and big brushes, closing in on the detail once this was dry, working backwards ending with the sky.
