Pursuing my attempts to capture a sea fret over the winter as I often swim in them. They are less blue than you’d think as the silty North Sea leans into its brownish tone. I’ve taken it a step further than reality here but I will leave it as it is. The colour is extremely difficult to capture, it hovers between blue, violet and a cool brown, but the main image is the closest. Please contact me for more photos should you require them.
I’m happy with the flow and swell of the sea as my hand to brush synergy attempts to emulate wavelets within waves.
Painted on a braced wood panel, with clean wood edges, ready to hang.
