First painting of 2025 and the sunken skeletons continue. A warmer palette is used and gives a shift in atmospherics, although the water still is cold and menacing, the ship on the horizon has a small orange light burning through the mist. I am still pursuing making my brushstrokes emulate wavelets within waves on the sea surface, alongside the colour exploration in different weathers.
Painted on a braced wood panel, with bare wood edges, ready to hang.
