Important drawing, as this marked a turning point of making work from my imagination. Born from deep seated emotion, drawn at a time I was struggling for inspiration, it all came spilling out in this drawing. It changed the way I work from then on. A wave cries its salty tears back into itself, gentle rain falls from the sky.
Made using liquid and willow charcoal on Arches watercolour paper, 300gsm.
Posted flat, wrapped in glassine.
