A sunken skeleton lurks awkwardly at the bottom of the sea, the swirling wave contorts its bones.
Of all the paintings I have made of the sea so far, this one satisfies me the most; it is the perfect fade from light to dark, and how the synergy happened between eye, hand and paint resulted in a mass of undulating wavelets which I am constantly chasing in my work.
Painted in oil on a braced wood panel, with paint splattered edges, ready to hang.
