One of my favourite walks on the North Norfolk coast is the vast wood between Holkham and Wells, especially Holkham beach which is famously broad and beautiful. I have painted it many times and this painting was made in 2017 of the edge of the wood where the trees give way to the sand, and I love the contrasting light of the bright sunlit sand, sea, silhouetted trees and dappled, deep, sharp shadows. The original painting is now sold.
Professionally printed on Hahnemuhle photo rag paper, numbered and signed on the back and with a 4cm white border around the image. Unmounted, unframed. Giclee is defined as a high quality reproduction print, truest to the colours of the original painting, using the highest quality ink so it will not fade over time.
